This achievement highlights the group's dedication to quality and customer satisfaction across its Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis brands. The study evaluates new vehicle owners' experiences within the first 90 days of ownership, focusing on problems per 100 vehicles (PP100), where a lower score signifies better quality.
The Hyundai SANTA CRUZ excelled in the Midsize Pickup category, while Kia's Telluride led in the Upper Midsize SUV segment. Hyundai ranked third overall and second among mass-market brands, with Kia placing eighth overall. Genesis improved to ninth place overall, maintaining its status as the third-highest premium brand. These results reflect Hyundai Motor Group's commitment to innovation and continuous quality enhancement.

In terms of manufacturing prowess, three of Hyundai Motor Group's plants were acknowledged for their superior build quality and minimal defects. In Korea, Hyundai Motor Ulsan Plant 5 and Kia AutoLand Gwangju Plant 1 tied for second place in Asia-Pacific rankings. Meanwhile, Kia Mexico (KMX) achieved third place among American assembly plants, showcasing the group's global manufacturing strength.
