2026 Jeep Recon Electric SUV Unveiled: 650hp Power And 370KM Range
Jeep has officially unveiled its 2026 Jeep Recon Electric SUV that has 650 hp of power and a 370 Km range. This is their third electric SUV, and it is based on the STLA platform. It was the same platform on which the Wagoneer S was built. This 2026 Jeep Recon is a more powerful and more off-road capable car than its predecessor.

The Recon retains the same design as the Wagoneer and Grand Cherokee. It gets the trademark boxy design, tall stance, with the typical Jeep grill at the front. The special feature of this Jeep Recon EV is that it has removable doors, removable rear quarter glass, and removable swing gates.
This allows the passengers to enjoy the open air without getting out of the vehicle. The Recon is also the only electric SUV to be tested in 5 different harsh off-roading conditions, and it has earned a Trail rating for the achievement.
As the EV is built for off-roading, it is equipped with the Selec-Terrain Traction Management system. This allows the drivers to choose between five different driving modes: Sport, Sand, Rock, Snow, and Auto.
The Sport mode allows the drivers to enjoy full power, Sand mode helps it glide through sand. Rock helps it crawl over hard surfaces, while the snow offers maximum traction and grip. Auto mode will automatically allow the vehicle to select the riding mode according to its senses.
On the inside, it comes with a 14.5-inch touch screen infotainment system, with a 360-degree camera, an 11-speaker sound system powered by Alpine premium audio system. For safety, it gets 170+ standard features which include Rough Road cruise control, Pedestrian emergency braking, Blind Spot monitoring, airbags, and much more. We are expecting the car to have a similar battery pack as the Wagoneer S electric SUV. The company claims the range will be 230 Miles (370 Km), and it has a fast charging feature. It will reach 5-80% after just 28 minutes of charging. It gets a Level 1 charger that has 1.3 kW and a Level 2 charger that has 7.6 kW of charging capacity.
