In a remarkable achievement, the company has reported the successful delivery of 3,000 units of these two models in less than a month since they started reaching customers. This milestone underscores Mahindra's strong presence in the electric vehicle (EV) sector and its commitment to contributing to a greener future.
The electrifying response from consumers towards the XEV 9e and BE 6 has been overwhelming for Mahindra. According to the manufacturer, these deliveries represent not just successful sales figures but also the increasing acceptance and demand for electric vehicles across the nation.

The company's foray into the electric SUV market with these models has evidently resonated well with the Indian audience, demonstrating a positive shift in consumer preferences towards sustainable mobility solutions.
Mahindra has positioned the XEV 9e with a starting price of ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Pack One 59 kWh variant. Additionally, the SUV offers higher versions - the Pack Two 59 kWh and Pack Three Select 59 kWh, priced at ₹24.90 lakh and ₹27.90 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The top-of-the-line Pack Three 79 kWh variant is available for ₹30.50 lakh (ex-showroom), catering to those seeking the utmost in electric vehicle technology and features.
On a similar note, the Mahindra BE 6 is available at an entry-level price of ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Pack One 59 kWh. The automaker's statement highlights the surge in bookings, revealing that the XEV 9e leads with 59% of total reservations, while the BE 6 accounts for the remaining 41%. This distribution not only indicates the popularity of both models but also shows a noticeable consumer inclination towards the fully equipped Pack Three variant of both the XEV 9e and BE 6. This preference signals a growing trend among Indian buyers for electric vehicles that do not compromise on technology or features.
Due to this unprecedented demand, Mahindra has noted that waiting periods for these electric SUVs can extend up to six months in certain cities. To address this, the company is ramping up its production and delivery capabilities, ensuring that customers do not have to wait too long to drive home their new EV. This strategy is part of Mahindra's broader effort to solidify its position in the electric vehicle market and meet the burgeoning demand for eco-friendly transportation solutions in India.
