Maruti Suzuki will offer the e-Vitara with two battery pack choices: a 48.8 kWh battery and a larger 61.1 kWh battery. These batteries are expected to deliver a range exceeding 500 km. Indian buyers will receive the front-wheel-drive version, while an all-wheel-drive option will be available internationally. The smaller battery pack will be exclusive to the Delta variant.

The interior of this 5-seater electric mid-size SUV is designed to impress with modern amenities. It includes a 10-way electrically adjustable driver seat, Level 2 ADAS, and a large touchscreen infotainment system. Safety is prioritised with six airbags across all variants and a digital instrument cluster providing essential driving information.

The e-Vitara will be available in Delta, Zeta, and Alpha variants. The mid-range Zeta and top-end Alpha are expected to offer both battery options. Additional features include ventilated driver and front passenger seats, a panoramic sunroof, a Harman audio system, and a 360-degree camera for easier handling.

Built on the e-Heartect platform, this electric SUV will compete with models like the Hyundai Creta Electric, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra XUV400, MG ZS EV, and Mahindra XEV 9e. Additionally, it will be produced at SMC's Gujarat plant later this year. The car will also serve as the foundation for the Toyota version for both domestic and international markets.

Market Anticipation

As Maruti Suzuki prepares to launch the e-Vitara soon, anticipation is steadily growing due to its enhanced features and performance capabilities. This excitement is likely to result in increased bookings once it hits the market.
