Rocketeer Cars Unveils Two New RestoMod Models Set For Launch In 2025
Rocketeer Cars has successfully completed its latest funding round, attracting new investors and advisors. This investment underscores confidence in Rocketeer's innovative approach to creating accessible RestoMods and sports cars. The funds will support the development of two new RestoBuild models set for a 2025 launch, including an extreme variant aimed at a new sports car audience.
The company's expansion into the US market is now possible due to this investment, meeting the growing demand there. Rocketeer offers ownership through co-curated RestoBuild vehicles, Turnkey vehicles, and self-build kits. These options feature engines ranging from 280hp to 375hp, powered by the Rocketeer 3.0-litre V6 engine.

Rocketeer Cars, known for its hand-built MXV6 RestoBuild sports cars, has announced the completion of its funding round. This brings in new investors and advisors to enhance product offerings and expand market presence. The investment validates the company's progress, with over 30 Turnkey and RestoBuild vehicles delivered and more than 150 self-build kits supplied so far.
The new investors are automotive enthusiasts who appreciate old-school analogue sports cars that incorporate modern technology. Rocketeer's MXV6 RestoBuild sports car responds to today's supercars that are faster but less engaging to drive under normal conditions.
The fresh investment will fund two new RestoBuild models and expand into new markets. In mid-2025, Rocketeer plans to introduce the Keiryō model, meaning "Lightweight" in Japanese. A discerning client challenged Rocketeer's R&D team to create the lightest and most powerful MXV6 ever.
The Keiryō aims for a weight of 850kg and 375hp, achieving a power-to-weight ratio similar to iconic supercars like the Ferrari F40. This model targets a new demographic of driving enthusiasts, with orders available once the first car is delivered.
Technical Advancements
The Mk3 (NC) vehicle is also nearing completion with engineering development in advanced stages. It has been tested on a dynamometer to exceed 300hp as standard. Deliveries for NC cars are expected by mid-2025, with existing Mk3 cars on roads anticipated to form a significant portion of future builds.
Rocketeer’s expansion into the US market is crucial due to substantial interest there. The investment enables delivery of Turnkey and RestoBuild cars to US clients through existing partners in Germany, Netherlands, and Australia.
Ownership Options
Currently, Rocketeer MXV6 ownership is available via three routes: bespoke co-curated RestoMod vehicles with unique exterior and interior features; Turnkey cars where technicians install a new 3.0-litre V6 engine; or comprehensive self-build kits for enthusiasts.
The Rocketeer MXV6 honours the best-selling small roadster by maintaining its world-class weight distribution while replacing its underpowered four-cylinder engine with a Jaguar-derived AJ30 V6 engine designed by Porsche and finished by Cosworth.
Performance Specifications
This engine's over-square design ensures high-revving performance with flexibility and tunefulness. The standard specification offers 280hp but can exceed 375hp with revs up to 9,000rpm in an analogue sports car style.
To date, over 150 kits have been installed globally, alongside more than 30 Turnkey and RestoMod builds. A demonstration vehicle will be available for media evaluation at the upcoming SMMT Test Day on May 15 at Newspress booth.
