Tata Sierra EV Production Version Teased – Revised Design & Expected Range
Tata Motors has teased the production-spec version of the Tata Sierra EV, offering a first detailed look at its design ahead of its official release later this month. The reveal comes via a promotional TV commercial that primarily highlights the ICE version of the Sierra but also discreetly shows the EV variant.
Visually, the Sierra EV shares the bold side profile and signature Alpine-window styling of its ICE counterpart, making the two versions almost indistinguishable from the side. The differences between the electric and the Dino burning Sierra siblings are most apparent at the front.
The Tata Sierra EV features a fully closed-off fascia with a body-coloured surround and a clean bumper designed for improved aerodynamics. Its LED light bar is simpler and uninterrupted, while the ICE version retains grille openings and textured elements.
Inside, the Sierra EV is expected to retain the triple-screen layout teased for the newer Sierra generation, along with features like a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting and a wireless phone charger. EV-specific additions are likely, including vehicle-to-load (V2L) and vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) capabilities.

Tata has not yet published detailed specifications for the Sierra EV, but we expect multiple battery pack options with a claimed driving range of around 500 km on a single charge. There is also speculation that, like the Harrier EV, an all-wheel-drive version of the Sierra EV will also be launched.
The ICE version of the Sierra is slated to launch for the 25th of November, while the EV variant is expected to follow a few months down the line. The price for the Sierra series is anticipated to start from approximately ₹11-12 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model, with the EV variants likely to start atleast ₹5-7 lakh more.

Once introduced, the Sierra EV will compete with upcoming compact electric SUVs such as the Mahindra BE 6, Hyundai Creta Electric and the MG ZS EV. The Tata Sierra EV will sit between the Curvv EV and Harrier EV in the Mumbai-based carmaker's lineup.
