Isuzu has updated the D-Max V-Cross pickup truck for the year 2026. The update introduces minor cosmetics and a few new features, while retaining the 4x4 drivetrain as the only available option. This lifestyle pickup continues to appeal to buyers seeking a rugged yet premium utility vehicle.

The D-Max is one of the most popular lifestyle pickup trucks sold in the country. The latest cosmetic updates include a revised front grille and updated bumper design. The grille now features a thicker black finish, while the skid plate design has been slightly refined.

The bumper also integrates fog lamps, while the headlamp setup remains positioned higher, with integrated DRLs and turn indicators. On the sides, the pickup now features new 18-inch alloy wheels along with large black wheel arches and a tall stance that enhances its off-road capability.
In terms of features, it now includes a 360-degree camera system, updated wing mirrors, and additional camera integration near the grille area for improved visibility. It also gets TPMS, tailgate assist functionality, and an 8-speaker audio system with roof-mounted speakers.

Inside, the cabin gets a floating 10.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, contrast trim inserts on the doors and dashboard, dual-tone upholstery, and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
The 2026 D-Max V-Cross continues to be powered by the same 1.9-litre four-cylinder VGS turbo diesel engine, producing 161 bhp at 3,600 rpm and 360 Nm of torque between 2,000 and 2,500 rpm. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.

Previously, the D-Max V-Cross was offered with a 4x2 drivetrain option. However, that variant has now been discontinued, and the pickup is available only with a 4WD as standard. All trims also feature an auto-locking differential and a High-ride suspension, improving off-road capability.
Pricing has increased slightly, with the base variant starting at ₹25.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The D-Max V-Cross currently has limited direct competition in this price point, although it rivals the Toyota Hilux, another lifestyle pickup truck.
