Hero MotoCorp Registers Massive Growth – 60 Lakh+ Sales In FY2026
Hero MotoCorp recorded strong sales in March 2026, with a total of 5,98,198 units, marking a 24% growth compared to the same period last year. The world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer also closed FY2026 with an overall 11% volume growth.
Hero Motocorp Achieves Massive Sales Growth
India's Hero MotoCorp reported a solid performance in March 2026, as per Vahan data. A total of 5,98,198 units were dispatched, compared to 5,49,604 units in March 2025. Domestic sales stood at 5,52,505 units, up from 5,10,086 units in the same period last year.
Overall, in FY2026, Hero MotoCorp sold a total of 60,66,048 units, compared to 56,11,758 units in FY2025. Exports also saw significant growth, reaching 4,02,786 units in FY2026, up from 2,87,429 units in FY2025. In March 2026 alone, exports stood at 45,693 units, compared to 39,518 units in March 2025.

This sales growth was primarily driven by the 100cc and 125cc segments, where Hero MotoCorp continues to dominate. Models such as the Glamour and Xtreme remain highly popular in the commuter motorcycle category, especially in rural markets.
Vida Electric Sales
Hero is also strengthening its position in the electric vehicle space with its Vida range of scooters. In FY2026, Vida recorded an impressive 154% growth compared to FY2025. Last month alone, the brand achieved its highest-ever monthly sales of 21,434 units, registering a 70% month-on-month growth.
Recently, the company launched the Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition, inspired by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) IPL franchise. This special edition features purple and gold decals with a black body finish. The company's EV lineup also includes the Vida V2 and VX2 models.
