Mahindra Sells 41,000 Electric SUVs In 10 Months — BE 06, XEV 9e & XEV 9S Drive Growth
Mahindra has announced that it has sold over 41,000 units of its electric SUVs in the past 10 months, marking a significant milestone for the company's growing EV market share. The lineup includes the popular BE 06, XEV 9e, and the recently launched XEV 9S, helping Mahindra strengthen its foothold in India's expanding electric vehicle market.
Mahindra eSUVs Reach New Milestone
Collectively, Mahindra's electric SUV owners have clocked an impressive 32 crore kilometres, highlighting the growing acceptance of the brand's EV offerings. The brand is competing with Tata Motors and MG Motor India in the EV segment.

The BE 06, positioned as the entry-level electric SUV, has gained strong sales due to its value pricing and advanced features. It starts at ₹18.90 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs, delivering a maximum claimed range of up to 557 km.
The XEV 9e, priced from ₹21.90 lakh (ex-showroom), targets performance-focused buyers while retaining similar battery pack options. It offers a claimed driving range exceeding 500 km on a single charge. Mahindra is also selling a BE 06 FE edition with a Formula E theme priced at 23.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

Meanwhile, the newly introduced XEV 9S is built on the same INGLO platform and is designed to offer more space, accommodating seven passengers in the lineup. This seven-seater electric SUV is priced at around ₹19.95 lakh (ex-showroom), and it comes with three different battery packs: 59 kWh, 70 kWh and 79 kWh.
The XEV 9S also stands out for its advanced features, including a triple-screen infotainment setup, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, ventilated and sliding seats, Boss Mode, panoramic moonroof, and connected car technology, positioning it among the more feature-rich electric SUVs in its segment.

Mahindra already holds a strong position in India's SUV segment with models such as the XUV 3XO, the XUV 7XO, Scorpio Classic, Scorpio-N, Thar, Thar Roxx and Bolero. Looking ahead, the brand is also expected to introduce updates such as the Scorpio-N facelift and the Thar three-door facelift.
Electric vehicles are seen as the future of mobility, and Mahindra is aiming to secure a significant share of this evolving market. To achieve this, the company is focusing on the highly popular SUV segment by introducing more electric SUVs equipped with advanced features, improved driving range, and the latest technology.
