Mahindra BE 06 Batman Edition Returns, Bookings Open March 10
Mahindra & Mahindra is bringing back the Mahindra BE 06 Batman Edition after witnessing overwhelming demand from fans. This special edition was developed in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products. Notably, all 999 units were sold out in just 137 seconds after bookings opened, highlighting their massive popularity among enthusiasts.
Mahindra BE 06 Batman Edition is Back
The Batman Edition of the BE 06 was inspired by The Dark Knight Trilogy, directed by Christopher Nolan, and quickly became a favourite among fans in India. Initially launched in limited numbers with only 999 units, the special edition generated massive attention across social media and fan communities. Following repeated requests and strong interest from enthusiasts, the company has now decided to bring back the Batman Edition to the Indian market.
Bookings for this special edition will open on March 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, while deliveries are scheduled to begin a month later on April 10, 2026. Batman is one of the world's most recognisable cultural icons, and bringing the character's theme to an electric SUV has proven to be a successful move for Mahindra.
Price
The BE 06 Batman Edition is priced at ₹28.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This special edition comes equipped with a 79 kWh battery pack, delivering a maximum ARAI-claimed range of 683 km. The electric SUV produces 282 bhp of power and 310 Nm of torque, with power sent to the rear wheels (RWD).
Exterior
In terms of design, the model features an exclusive all-black theme with custom Batman decals, 20-inch alloy wheels, Alchemy gold-painted suspension and brake callipers, and "The Dark Knight Limited Edition" badging. It also gets a Bat emblem on the Hub caps, front quarter panels, rear bumpers, windows, and rear windshield. Additional highlights include the Infinity Roof and carpet lamps that project the Batman logo, emphasising its unique theme.
Interior
Inside the cabin, the SUV features a Gold Batman Edition plaque on the dashboard, a charcoal leather instrument panel, and suede leather upholstery. Other unique elements include a gold-accented steering wheel, race car-inspired door straps with Batman Edition branding, and custom Batman-inspired exterior engine sounds. The interior also gets special graphics and the Dark Knight Trilogy Bat emblem on the Boost button, seats, and interior labels, further enhancing its exclusive character.
