Mahindra Launches XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition With Premium Lounge Interior & Luxury
Mahindra has unveiled the new XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition, introducing a more premium, lounge-inspired cabin experience with upgraded materials and exclusive interior textures. The special edition model will be open for bookings starting March 2, while customer deliveries are scheduled to commence from March 10, marking the arrival of a more luxurious trim of Mahindra's electric SUV lineup.

Mahindra, one of India's leading electric vehicle manufacturers, already offers a strong EV portfolio that includes models such as the BE 06, XEV 9e, and XEV 9s. The brand has previously introduced several special editions, including themed versions like the Batman Edition and Racing Edition, aimed at enhancing visual appeal and exclusivity.
Exterior
With the new Cineluxe Edition, Mahindra focuses on elevating luxury and comfort. The SUV gets new exterior colour options with Satin Black and Satin White, paired with premium interior themes like Chestnut Brown and Nocturne Black. Apart from these aesthetic enhancements, the overall design remains unchanged, retaining its signature sporty styling along with LED headlamps and distinctive tail lamps.
Interiors
Inside the cabin, the XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition features a class-leading coast-to-coast triple HD display setup, complemented by a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos surround sound, delivering a studio-grade listening experience. Other highlights include an Infinity Roof and customizable ambient lighting, further enhancing the lounge-like atmosphere inside the vehicle.
Battery Pack
The Cineluxe variant is based on the pack Three trim and is powered by a 79 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed real-world driving range of over 500 km. It also comes equipped with advanced safety and technology features such as the VisionX AR head-up display, Eye Identity driver and occupant monitoring system, hands-free parking with Auto Park Assist, and the Secure360 safety suite.
Technology
Additional convenience features include Camp, Keep, and PawPal HVAC modes, customizable drive modes, a Digital Key, Secure360 Pro, and personalised user profiles that adapt vehicle settings based on individual preferences.
Pricing
The XEV 9e Cineluxe Edition is priced at ₹29.35 lakh (ex-showroom). It carries a premium over the standard XEV 9e, primarily due to its more upmarket interiors, enhanced materials, and luxury-focused cabin experience.
It has already secured many awards, including the prestigious Green Car of the Year at ICOTY 2026. The model has also gained popularity among people of eminence, attracting celebrities, sportspeople, and business leaders by becoming their favourite luxury EV.
Alongside the XEV 9e, Mahindra continues to offer popular electric SUVs such as the BE 06 and the XEV 9s, positioned as one of India's most affordable seven-seater EVs. While these models already deliver strong safety and comfort credentials, the introduction of the Cineluxe Edition further enhances the premium appeal, bringing a more luxury-focused experience to Mahindra's electric vehicle range.
