Nissan has launched the Gravite, marking the start of its revival in the Indian market after a long time. With more new models expected by 2026, the brand is focused on rebuilding momentum in the domestic market. Here's a look at the key highlights of this new seven-seater MPV.
Nissan Gravite MPV Top Features & Highlights
Premium Features
Although the Nissan Gravite is based on the Triber MPV, it offers more premium features such as an integrated dual dashcam, a JBL premium sound system, and a built-in air purifier. These features are available in the special launch edition of the Gravite, known as the Tekna trim.

Spacious Interiors
The Nissan Gravite positions itself as a compact seven-seater MPV, yet it offers impressive space and comfort for passengers. Nissan claims that the Gravite can have over 150 seating configurations, allowing maximum flexibility in space usage. In the five-seater configuration, it provides 625 litres of boot space.
Advanced Interiors & Technology
Inside, the Gravite features plush suede and leatherette seats, along with a dual-tone dashboard featuring a wooden finish. It also comes with a floating 20.32 cm touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, there is a 17.78 cm fully digital instrument cluster with a tyre pressure monitoring system.

Best-in-Class Safety
The Gravite comes equipped with segment-leading safety features, including six airbags as standard, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), and hill-start assist. Front and rear parking sensors, along with dashcams, add to the overall safety package.
Comfort and Convenience
The MPV also offers several comfort and convenience features such as auto rain-sensing wipers, a tropicalised AC with three-row vents, decent knee and legroom in the second and third rows, multiple cooled storage compartments, and wireless charging.

Good Pricing & Value
The Nissan Gravite is priced at ₹5.65 lakh (ex-showroom), making it slightly more affordable than its sibling, the Renault Triber. It stands out as one of the most affordable seven-seater options in India. Nissan is also expected to introduce dual CNG cylinders for the Gravite at the dealership level to make it more appealing to family buyers.
It competes in the entry-level MPV segment against cars such as the Renault Triber, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Maruti Suzuki XL6, and Kia Carens. Nissan will next launch the Renault Duster-based Tekton SUV in India.
