Tata Punch EV Facelift Launched At Rs 9.69 Lakh - ₹6.49 lakh BaaS Price, 468km Range

Tata Motors has launched the Punch EV facelift in India with prices starting at ₹ 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated Tata Punch EV is also available with Battery-as-a-Service for ₹ 6.49 lakh with a battery rental of ₹ 2.9/km.

The Tata Punch EV facelift brings subtle styling revisions in line with the updated petrol Punch, along with larger battery packs that push the ARAI-certified range up to 468km.

The Tata Punch is offered in the following variants - Smart (30kWh only), Smart+ (both battery packs), Adventure, Empowered and Empowered+ (final three variants are only offered with the 40kWh battery pack).

As mentioned before, the Tata Punch EV facelift is also available with Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) for ₹6.49 lakh with a battery rental of ₹2.6/km/

Tata Punch EV Facelift Launched - Design & Features

Design changes include revised LED lighting elements, redesigned bumpers and fresh alloy wheel designs. The front receives a closed-off grille treatment, while new colour options are also introduced. The rear features connected taillights and a revised bumper and the micro SUV rides on new 16-inch aero-optimised alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin receives minor updates to colour schemes and trim while retaining the existing layout. Higher variants get dual 10.25-inch screens, a touchscreen unit for the infotainment and awfully digital display for the driver.

Other equipment carried forward includes ventilated front seats, sunroof, ambient lighting, connected car technology and a 360-degree camera. The Punch EV facelift also gets a host of safety features as standard, including six airbags, ISOFIX anchor points for child seats, high beam assist, electronic stability control, hill-hold assist and a tyre-pressure monitoring system.

The Tata Punch EV facelift is offered in the following colours - Fearless Yellow, Bengal Rouge, Caramel, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.

Tata Punch EV Facelift Launched - Powertrain, Battery & Range

The Punch EV facelift now features a 30kWh (Medium range) and 40kWh (Long Range) LFP battery packs. The smaller battery version offers an ARAI range of 365 km, while the larger pack delivers an ARAI range of 468 km on a single charge, with Tata claiming a real-world range of 355km. Both battery packs support 65kW DC fast charging, which allows for a charge from 20-80 per cent in 26 minutes, and a range top-up of 135km in 15 minutes

The larger battery packs are still connected to a single electric motor, which now produces up to 129bhp which allows for a 0-100km/h sprint time of under 9 seconds.
