Tata Tiago EV Facelift Spied Testing — New Design Details Spotted
The facelifted version of the Tata Tiago EV hatchback has been spotted testing again on Indian roads, revealing additional design details of the upcoming update to Tata Motors' entry-level electric vehicle.
The latest spy video of the Tata Tiago EV facelift captured by revwheelsmedia on Instagram shows a camouflaged test mule of the all-electric hatchback undergoing highway testing and hints at subtle styling revisions for the electric hatchback.
The Tata Tiago EV currently sits among the most affordable electric cars in India, and the upcoming facelift is expected to introduce mild exterior updates while retaining the existing mechanical package. The updated Tata Tiago EV facelift is expected to debut in India sometime in the second half of 2026.
Tata Tiago EV Facelift - Updated Styling
Spy images suggest the facelifted Tata Tiago EV will receive a revised front fascia. The test car appears to feature updated headlamp units along with a reworked front bumper design, though heavy camouflage makes it difficult to identify the exact styling changes.

The facelifted electric Tiago hatchback may also receive revised wheel designs, which could include new alloy wheel patterns depending on the variant. These updates are expected to give the Tiago EV a slightly refreshed look without significantly altering the overall design.
Changes can also be seen at the rear of the electric hatchback. The test mule looks like it is sporting updated tail-lamp elements, along with a revised rear bumper design. The overall silhouette and body structure, however, remain unchanged, suggesting that the facelift will primarily focus on evolutionary cosmetic updates rather than a full redesign.

Tata Tiago EV Facelift - Battery & Powertrain
The facelifted Tiago EV is expected to retain the familiar dual powertrain setup. The current Tiago EV is offered with 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery packs with a maximum range of 293km on a single charge.
However, like the newly launched Punch EV facelift, the updated Tiago EV is expected to feature denser LFP battery packs, which should also result in a slight uptick in power levels for both versions of the electric hatchback.
While mechanical changes are unlikely, Tata Motors could introduce new colour options and minor feature upgrades with the facelift. The update may also bring small revisions to the interior trim and infotainment interface, though these details have not yet been confirmed.
