Japanese carmaker Toyota reported total sales of 34,034 units in February 2026, registering a 20 per cent year-on-year growth compared to the 28,414 units sold in February 2025. The increase in Toyota's sales figures was supported by a steady domestic demand and a strong rise in exports.
Domestic dispatches stood at 30,737 units in February 2026, up from 26,414 units recorded in the same month last year. This represents a 16 per cent year-on-year increase, highlighting continued demand across Toyota's product portfolio in India.

Month-on-month volumes remained largely stable. Domestic sales in February were slightly higher than 30,630 units recorded in January 2026, indicating steady demand momentum despite seasonal fluctuations in the passenger vehicle market.
Toyota's domestic lineup includes models such as the Toyota Glanza, Toyota Rumion, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Toyota Innova Crysta and Toyota Innova Hycross, which collectively contribute to the company's domestic volumes.

Exports recorded stronger growth than domestic sales during the month. Toyota exported 3,297 units in February 2026, compared to 2,000 units exported in February 2025. This marks an increase of 1,297 units, translating to a 65 per cent year-on-year growth in overseas shipments. The sharp rise in exports played a key role in boosting the company's overall monthly performance.
