Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro From Ender's Game
Ender's Game is a science fiction movie based on an award winning, best selling novel by the same name. If you are in India it is unlikely you have seen the movie yet since the movie, released on Oct 25 has only been launched in the UK & USA.
But why are we talking about a science fiction movie you ask? It's because Ender's Game happens to be Audi's first time designing an entirely virtual car for a movie. For those who have seen the movie or even the trailer, you'll know that we are talking about the advanced four wheeled machine, the Audi Fleet Shuttle Quattro.

Audi explains that the Fleet Shuttle Quattro, with its visionary design blends easily into the world of the hollywood science fiction and perfectly depicts the futuristic design and showcases technology from a distant time in the future.
While the car does not exist outside of the movie you could get a look at it in the real world - or at least of a 1:4 scale model which was displayed during the premiere of the movie.
"The Audi in the movie represents progress and it appears in key scenes that have a lasting impact on the life of the protagonist," explained Florian Zitzlsperger, responsible for Brand Partnerships at AUDI AG. "As a result, our Audi becomes part of this fictional world."
In terms of design the covered wheels, the glass roof and the general shape of the car shouts out science fiction. But the designers have managed to infuse Audi's distinct design language.
"Designing the Audi fleet shuttle quattro was similar to customizing a tailor-made suit. We adapted it to the requirements of the world in „Ender‟s Game‟ and at the same time had to take care to preserve our brand values," said Frank Rimili, chief designer for the film project.
Another amazing part of the design is that despite its virtual edsign Audi has made the car functional, if every it were to become a reality, as explained in the following video.
"We were ultimately able to perfectly project our design philosophy into the fictional world of the movie." Linda McDonough, a producer of "Ender‟s Game," added, "The Audi brand is already very forward thinking which made their inclusion in our film an organic fit."
