While almost all fields of work in India offer adequate levels of gender equality, it doesn't always happen in the military. Indian Air Force, a home for brave souls and risk-takers, had always been a place of male dominance. But Avani has made an impact by flying the MiG-21 Bison all by herself. We hope that more such brave Indian women step forward to make a difference.
