This is Body Crash, a painted people car sculpture. Perhaps the most unique way in which anyone has ever promoted a road safety campaign. The artist responsible for this unique sculpture is Emma Hack, an artist from Australia.

Emma Hack, an artist based in Australia, is an expert body paint artist. She uses the human body as a canvas to create one of a kind artwork.

'Body Crash', a project that was commissioned by the Motor Accident Commission to promote road safety showcases a crashed car, with a broken front end.

To create Body Crash Emma Hack made use of 17 models, each of them hand picked by her.

The models include bodybuilders and acrobats, selected not only for their perfect features, but also for their stamina.

Body Crash required 18 hours to complete and required the models to stay in odd positions for extended periods of time, which required stamina.

Emma Hack used acrobats to create the crashed portion of the car since it required the models to bend their bodies in difficult postures and maintain it.

The end result, post some image editing, is an amazing representation of a crashed car which sends a message.
