Dad Of The Year Transforms E-Bike Into DIY Star Wars Speeder For His Son
They say a father's love knows no bounds but in this case, it even transcends galaxies. The story begins with a father and son duo of Star Wars fans from Lowell, Michigan, USA, preparing for Comic-Con
The father had already crafted Jedi outfits for both of them as they looked to attend Comic-Con together. However, he decided to take it a step further by turning his son's e-bike into a Speeder from the Star Wars movie verse.
This Star Wars Speeder might not hover like the ones in the films, but it certainly captures the essence of the iconic movie prop. The dad ingeniously used cardboard, duct tape, paint and reflective foil to create this masterpiece of a moving movie prop, spending less than $40 (Rs 3,335) on the DIY project.
The reflective foil gives the illusion of the bike levitating, just like the actual Speeders in Star Wars. The wheels of the e-bike are cleverly hidden, adding to the authenticity of the design.
Details about the e-bike used were not made available in the video shared by ViralHog on YouTube, but the son's reaction while riding the speeder around his neighbourhood was quite evident despite the lack of sound in the video.
