Delhi PWD Uses Microsurfacing Technology To Repair Roads

The Public Works Department (PWD), Government of NCT, Delhi now uses a new technology to repair roads. This technology is called as microsurfacing which is adopted from Spain. This kind of road repairing technology is already used in Gujarat and Maharashtra.

The microsurfacing technology is nothing but treating the bitumen mixture with a special emulsion which increases the lifespan of road upto three times. This technology uses only 3mm to 6mm thick bitumen layer to repair roads, which will be cost effective.
