Ferrari LaFerrari: The Story Behind Its Design Explained

The pinnacle of design and technology always the comes by looking at the future and not by relying on the past. This was the core of Ferrari LaFerrari's design, as explained by Ferrari design director Flavio Manzoni during an exclusive interview with Autocar. This is just part of the thought process that went into the making of one of the most technologically advanced road car of the present day.

Like any other sports car of its caliber, LaFerrari was the result of a development process that went on for more than a couple of years, involving several prototype designs, 5 in LaFerrari's case. Three designs came from Ferrari, while the other two from Italian design studio Pininfarina.
