KTM Duke 390 Spotted With Stealth Black Paint Job
KTM dealers are offering a custom black paint job for the Duke 390 which is only offered in a bright orange paint scheme in India.
The KTM Duke 390 has been a hit among Indian riders ever since it hit the roads in our country in 2013. At the EICMA 2016, KTM revealed the new-gen Duke 390 and the new motorcycle made its way into India earlier this year.

The new KTM Duke 390 brought with it a host of changes which improved the riding capabilities of the bike and also features a hyper-aggressive look and a new instrumentation that added to its appeal.
However, if the new Duke 390 has an Achilles heel, it is the fact that it is available in only one colour in India - a vibrant orange.

The extremely bright orange paint job isn't something that appeals to everyone, with many riders preferring a lower profile while blitzing through city streets on their pocket rocket from Austria. Thankfully, KTM dealers are coming to the rescue of potential Duke 390 who prefer not to blind themselves and other on the road with the flaming orange paint job.
DriveSpark came across one such 'showroom-spec' black custom paint job in Bangalore and the black paint job looks a whole lot stealthier than the KTM orange of the Duke 390. However, the accompanying white stickering is an eyesore and the near Rs 10,000 price tag for the paint and stickering will throw many a buyer off.

DriveSpark Thinks!
The fact that KTM dealers are offering potential Duke 390 owners the option of painting their new ride in a stealthier colour is something that should be applauded.
However, the example seen above is why if you need a black KTM Duke 390, you should get the ultra-bright parts painted at a specialist and get a specialist who knows how does stickering done to get those decals put the proper way on your new bike.
