A Traction Control System (TCS) is designed to prevent any loss of traction or grip between your bike tires and the road surface. The TCS comes into action when throttle input and engine torque are mismatched with road surface conditions.

Austrian bike manufacturer KTM has released a YouTube video showing and explaining how their advanced traction control works compared to bikes without traction control.KTM in partnership with Bosch has designed and developed some of the most sophisticated electronics available in the two-wheel market.

In the video, KTM reveals how much difference does its advanced traction control works in some of the poor conditions when trying to accelerate hard.

While in the straight line, the new KTM can pull away from the start line effortlessly, the older KTM, on the other hand, struggles for traction leaving making it slower to accelerate from the outset even as the rear wheel spins uncontrollably.

    KTM also shows how the traction control works in the corners. KTM test riders, who are skilled in testing the bikes, accelerates while leaning over, and the electronics keep the bike on the line and exits the corner without any struggle. However, the bike with no traction control struggles to find grip and nearly throws the rider off the motorcycle.
