Lazareth Wazuma V8F Quad Has A Ferrari V8 Engine
What you'll see in the image gallery and in the video below is not a movie prop. The quad is an actual working machine that you can ride if you have the money to pay. Some of might be familiar with the Lazareth Wazuma V8F quad since a red one off model was seen a couple of years back.
What you are seeing is the Wazuma V8F Matt Edition and it has now entered production. Not in the general sense of the word, but at least more will be built if people order. For those of whom this monster quad is a first, read on to learn more about the crazy mechanical piece of work.

Lets start with an introduction about the maker of the Wazuma V8F. Its been built by well known French custom car and motorcycle manufacturer - add crazy to that - Lazareth. And this is not their first awesome creation either.

Basically, the Wazuma V8F is not much more than a piece of seat sitting on a V8 engine from a Ferrari, fitted to four massive tyres and a few essential mechanical parts.

The 3.0 liter V8 engine originates from a 1970s Ferrari 308 which generates 250 HP.

Delivering the power to the rear wheels is a six speed sequential transmission from a BMW M3.

Since the Wazuma V8F only weighs in at 650 kg it amounts to a amazing power-to-weight ratio of 384 bhp per ton, which is comparable to that of a Ferrari 458 Italia supercar.

Take the Wazuma V8F to a dragstrip or a runway and you should be able to achieve a top speed of about 322 km/h!

You have to be incredibly brave to pull that off when you are inches off the ground, sitting atop a screaming engine in the open. If you are crazy enough you could even reprogram the electronics to increase engine performance further.

Wazuma V8F comes electric power steering, modified 18 inch Momo rims shod in slick tires.

The tyres measure a massive 285‐30ZR18 at the front and 315‐30ZR18 at the rear.

Wazuma V8F is not the first of its breed. The quad has a less powerful brother in Wazuma R1, a similar looking quad but with a Yamaha R1 engine in place of the Ferrari V8.

If you are ready to shell out $260,000 on a potentially dangerous toy the Wazuma V8F is all yours.

But wait. We called the quad a toy for a reason since chances are that its not road legal in the place you live. Its certainly not road legal in France. So forget about riding to work in one of these.
