Rock Bouncing is a simple addiction for those who love to loose sight of the land.

Rock bouncing is not to be confused with rock crawling, which happens more often than not due to their similarities.

While rock crawling is all about conquering a super rough terrain through patience in vehicles such as a Hummer or a Jeep Wrangler, rock bouncing is just the opposite.

Rock bouncing involves conquering a challenging terrain with brute force, and the unpredictable outcomes make for a very exciting watch.

Custom steel tube buggies, involved in rock bouncing are characterized by high horsepower engines, massive tyres and strong and large suspensions.

Due to their supermassive tyres and the robust, but soft suspensions, combined with the huge power output, these vehicles frequently tend to bounce about a lot, which has earned the sport the name rock bouncing.

Rock bouncing events are held in many parts of the United States, which attracts huge crowds. The popularity of the sport, however, is not limited to that.

Due to the very nature of the sport it has gained a huge fan following on YouTube worldwide.

Some traditional off roaders consider rock bouncing a no talent sport, due to the apparent lack of technique or skill required, which relies on brute force to get the job done. Rock bouncers, however, beg to differ.

Rock bouncing is more than just mindless driving in a super crazy custom buggie. Developing the buggy itself requires incredible knowledge and skill. Furthermore, the level of fun rock bouncing generates cannot be matched by related sports.
Lastly, rock bouncing is best appreciated when watched. So, here is one video from the many that can be found on YouTube.
