Rolls-Royce Hits Truck At 200km/h – Truck Driver & Co-Driver Die On The Spot
Chilling videos have surfaced online showing a Rolls-Royce colliding with a diesel tanker. The accident resulted in the death of the diesel tanker's driver, Rampreet, and the co-driver, whose name is yet to be identified.
This high-speed accident between the speeding Rolls-Royce and the diesel tanker took place on the Gurgaon-Dausa section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. According to reports, this horrific accident took place on August 22.
Initially, it was reported that the diesel tanker driver, Rampreet was driving recklessly and negligently. However, CCTV footage turned out to be crucial evidence in proving the innocence of the diesel tanker driver.
Analysing the footage from the CCTV, it came to know that the Rolls-Royce was travelling at speeds more than 200km/h. Furthermore, it was also revealed that the Rolls-Royce hit the diesel tanker from behind - Turning the truck turtle in the process.
The impact even caused the Rolls-Royce to lose control and collide with the barrier. Subsequently, the Rolls-Royce involved in the accident was engulfed in a raging fire. Most likely due to spilt diesel from the tanker.
According to the latest reports, there were three individuals present in the Rolls-Royce car at the time of the accident. Though all three passengers suffered injuries, they were quickly transported to a medical facility in Gurgaon for treatment.
It is also reported that the Rolls-Royce that was involved in this tragic accident was part of a 20-vehicle convoy. However, the Rolls-Royce suddenly left the convoy by changing lanes and accelerated rapidly.
In fact, the Rolls-Royce covered a distance of 40 kilometres in just 12 minutes after leaving the convoy. This means the Rolls-Royce car that was involved in the accident managed to average 200km/h.
