The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Road Rocker By K-Speed Is All About The Style Points

The custom Royal Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Road Rocker by Thai customizers K-Speed shows what happens when everything is all about the style. And no we've not made any error in listing it as a custom Interceptor and not a Super Meteor, as K-Speed made this absolute banger of a custom Enfield back in 2021.

The Royal Enfield Interceptor isn't what you would call a big bike, especially in international markets where it is considered to be a rather compact motorcycle. K-Speed though has stripped back the bike to such proportions that it looks slimmer than an anorexic food avoider.

To achieve this weight-savers style special, K-Speed took the stock Interceptor 650 and stripped almost everything from it. The bodywork, suspension and wheels all have been binned. Even the frame didn't escape the knife. The top section was reworked so that there is now more space above the 648cc parallel-twin engine.

Adding to the slim and stretched look at the front is the raked springer fork setup that enhances the sleekness of the front end. The front wheel is a 21-inch wheel up front shod with a slim sawtooth tyre.

Get past that raked front fork with its chopper-style handlebars and you'll find the tiny peanut-shaped fuel tank. But if you're worried about running out of fuel, you need not do so as there is a secondary tank hidden alongside the fuel pump underneath the single seat and enclosed by the custom side covers.

The rear fender (finished in black) is a stubby little thing that barely hides the chunky sawtooth tyre draped over the 18-inch rear wheel. Thankfully unlike the front wheel, the rear unit does have a Brembo disc setup to get you to stop if you drop the anchors while the twin shocks are fully enclosed.

Other changes include the circular spotlight-style headlamp and the taillight that comes mounted to the swingarm of the custom Road Rocker. The clutch has been moved to the left and comes paired with a custom-built 'Suicide' hand shifter.

The custom K-Speed Interceptor 650 also sports ribbed engine covers with the unchanged RE powerplant sporting custom headers that loop around it before being finished off by custom end caps from the firm's in-house DIablo collection, a name you see on the tank.

Thoughts About The Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 Road Rocker By K-Speed

The Royal Enfield Road Rocker By K-Speed shows what happens when the only directive given is that a vehicle has to be stylish. The Road Rocker looks like an old-school custom bike and it rides so low, it would never go over a speed hump in India, but at the end of the day it looks so cool that those humps would try and disappear into the tarmac to have a better look at it.
