Watch Gymkhana Star Ken Block And Ford GT Take On Le Mans Circuit
Gymkhana star Ken Block was given an opportunity to take the Ford GT for a spin around the Le Mans Circuit.
When you hear the name Ken Block, you can smell the rubber burning! Be it in the Gymkhana series or the World Rally Rallycross Championship, Block his known for his outrageous drifts.
Now, Ford decided to hand over the keys of the all-new Ford GT to Block at the Le Mans circuit. He took the car for a spin around the Circuit de la Sarthe without getting into the tyre burning stuff.
On his official Facebook page, Block said, “It was a pretty amazing experience to be able to drive this circuit in the GT and have the whole thing to myself.” Block hit a speed of 258km/h on the circuit’s straights.
The Ford GT draws power from a 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6 engine churning out 647bhp and 746Nm of torque. The supercar’s dry weight stands at just 1,360kg. Ford also offers the GT in Competition Series which strips down the non-essential parts in the car.

When Ken Block drives a car all you can expect is drifts. But for a change Block took the Ford GT on a Sunday drive around the Le Mans 24 Hours circuit. He manages to hit a top speed of 258km/h on the straights.
