World's Fastest Monowheel Motorcycle Is Proof That A Mid-Life Crisis Isn't That Bad

Meet Warhorse, a monowheel motorcycle which has just made its way into the Guinness Book of World Records after smashing past the record for the 'World's Fastest Monowheel Motorcycle'.

A monowheel motorcycle is one large wheel that revolves around a track, inside which the engine and rider are housed.

The driver has to control the vehicle using careful control of throttle and perfect balance.

Warhorse was made by the UK Monowheel Team, a group of four middle-aged engineers who are between 49 and 60 years old and have been building crazy motorcycles since 2010.

The UK Monowheel Team and Kevin Scott recorded a staggering speed of 98.464 km/h while riding WarHorse, at the Elvington Airfield in North Yorkshire, UK.

WarHorse beat the previous record of 91.7 km/h which was achieved by Kerry McLean of the U.S.A. at Irwindale Speedway, California in 2001.
