Look At The 1000cc Royal Enfield Bullet
A vintage looking powerful Royal Enfield Bullet is a dream bike of many Motorcycle lovers in India. So if you though the Classic 500 will satisfy them, here is a Bullet lover who has developed a 1000cc version.
This 1000cc Royal Enfield Bullet is a result of 10 years of work by Aniket Vardhan, a biking enthusiast and an industrial design teacher in the US. Aniket has built a V-Twin 1000cc engine by merging two 499cc cast iron Royal Enfield engines.
The bike has the classic bike look thanks to the use of copper piping and chrome accent. Aniket has made every effort to use only standard Royal Enfield parts including the engine head, cylinder and pistons. To add to the vintage look, the gear shift has been moved to the right and the brakes are on the left. The V-Twin engine has been mounted on a 1993 Royal Enfield.
This V-Twin Musket engine project started when Aniket bought an old 500cc engine during a visit to Delhi. He then measured and sketched each and every part of the engine, Following which he was able to make CAD design of the V-Twin engine. The design lead to sand casts from which the engine head was made. After long hours of polishing, tuning and modifications, the final result was this beautiful engine. Here are images of the first 1000cc Royal Enfield Bullet.
