Munjal Auto Reports A Good Profit!

Hero group"s auto component maker Munjal Auto has made an impressive numbers with over two-fold jump in its net profit to Rs 10.71 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 as compared to the same period previous fiscal.

It is said that the company had a net profit of Rs 4.74 crore in the quarter ended March 31, 2010. The company"s net sales increased an over two-fold jump to Rs 156.89 crore from Rs 73.26 crore in the year-ago period during the quarter under review. The company's net profit stood at Rs 25.22 crore, up 59.7 percent as compared to Rs 15.79 crore recorded in the previous financial year for the year-ended March 31, 2011.

Report says that during the period the company had net sales of Rs 519.83 crore, a 78.8 percent increase from Rs 290.71 crore posted in the year ended March, 31, 2010.
