LML Making India Comeback With LML Star 200 4T
The LML Star 200 4T will be marketed as a premium scooter and LML can be expected to load it with several class leading features. LML which had ceased selling its scooters in India has never stopped functioning. It was exporting its scooters to a number of countries abroad successfully. The Star 200 4T is it's flagship model and has a positive reputation in the export markets too.
The Star 200 4T, as it's name suggests is powered by a 200cc four stroke engine. It is stylish and trendy to suit the preferences of the European scooter market, whose youth are increasingly taking to scooters for their daily commuting in favour of high fuel economy and utility, apart from chic styling. The 200cc four stroke engine mated to a four speed hand shift gearbox generates 11.5bhp and 14.5 Nm of torque. Such power will definitely generate some exciting performance that could put to shame several 125cc motorcycle. LML has said the Star 200 4T will offer a fuel economy of 50 km/l which can be considered to be average.
The LML Star 200 4T will come with additional features such as a ear change indicator and a rear brake light indicator, which basically lights up when the Star's rear brake light. The scooter's classic styling and performance will definitely find takers in India. Although LML does not have a solid brand presence, it hopes to regain lost ground through its Star 200 4T. LML's motorcycles will be launched after the launch of the scooter.
