TVS has released a new teaser of its upcoming variant of the Ntorq scooter in India. Analysing the new teaser image released by TVS Motor, the upcoming variant of the TVS Ntorq could be named 'Ntorq XT'.

At present, TVS Ntorq is available in four different variants - standard model, a Race edition, Super Squad edition and Race XP variant. With the addition of the upcoming new variant, there will be a total of 5 different variants of the TVS Ntorq scooter in India.

Speaking about the upcoming new variant of the TVS Ntorq, the 'XT' variant could feature an updated instrument console and added features. Apart from that, the model could also feature its own unique styling, exterior colour options and graphics.

The TVS Ntorq range starts at around Rs 77,000 for the base variant with drum brakes, whereas the Disc brake variant costs around Rs 81,500. Given the tech-packed theme of the upcoming Ntorq variant, the model could be the new flagship positioned above the current range-topping Race XP variant.

Last year, TVS launched Spiderman and Thor themed variants of its popular Ntorq 125 scooter and both editions of the Marvel superhero-themed scooters stand out from the crowd as they are adorned with colour schemes from their respective Marvel superheroes.

The Marvel superhero theme is not only limited to the exterior graphics and colour scheme of the 125cc scooter, but it also extends to the UI of the SmartXonnect app as TVS customised the UI to display a few aspects such as the silhouette and logo of the respective superheroes.

TVS Ntorq scooter is powered by a peppy 3-Valve,125cc engine. This engine produces 9.2bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.5Nm at 5,500rpm.On the other hand, the TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP puts out 10.05bhp at 7,000 rpm and 10.8Nm at 5,500 rpm from its retuned 125cc powertrain.

The TVS Ntorq is also one of the most-feature rich conventionally-powered scooters with features such as Bluetooth connectivity, an All-Digital instrument console, LED headlamps and many more.

The TVS Ntorq sports an underbone tubular type frame with telescopic suspension at the front and a coil spring unit at the rear and the scooter runs on 12-inch alloy wheels shod with 100/80 tyres at both front and rear.

Braking duties are handled by a single 220mm disc brake at the front and a 130mm drum brake setup at the rear.
