Hero Karizma XMR Introductory Price Available Only For A Few More Days – Price Hike Date Announced
Hero MotocCorp recently launched the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle in India at Rs 1,72,900 (ex-showroom). However, this was just an introductory price and a price hike on the motorcycle was imminent.
That being said, Hero MotoCorp has now announced a price hike on the newly launched Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle. This latest price hike on the Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle will be effective from October 1.
According to Hero MotoCorp, the new Hero Karizma motorcycle will cost Rs 1,79,900 (ex-showroom) after the implementation of the latest price hike. This is an increase of Rs 7,000 over the introductory price on the model.
Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Business Officer (India Business Unit) of Hero MotoCorp said, "The new Karizma XMR has already created a lot of excitement among the customers. The response has been great and this is a true testament to the trust that our customers have placed in this iconic legend."
Speaking about the new Hero Karizma XMR, the motorcycle comes with a full fairing along with a sharp and angular design. Some of the highlighting elements include a muscular fuel tank, split seats, clip-on handlebars, stubby exhaust, slim LED taillamps and more.
Coming to the powertrain, the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is powered by a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine. This engine is tuned to produce 25.15bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm.
Also, much unlike the original Karizma motorcycle, the engine in the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle comes paired with an all-new 6-speed gearbox with Slip & Assist clutch. Thanks to such a setup, we expect the model to have good mile-munching capabilities as well.
It is also worth mentioning that the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle gets underpinned by an all-new steel Trellis frame. Furthermore, the model uses a 37mm telescopic suspension at the front and a 6-step pre-load adjustable mono suspension at the rear.
Stopping power for the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle comes from a 300mm disc brake at the front and a smaller 230mm disc brake at the rear. Moreover, the braking system is further enhanced with the help of a dual-channel ABS unit.
In terms of features, the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle comes equipped with features such as projector LED headlamps wit Auto On/Off function, hazard switch, backlit switchgear, LED taillamps, LED turn indicators, and an all-new inverted LCD digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
