Hero Karizma XMR’s This Feature Will Blow Your Mind – Not Even Costly Superbikes Get This
Hero Motocorp recently launched the much-awaited Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle in India. While this motorcycle features many new for Hero Motocorp, one feature of this model is winning the internet.
In fact, this one feature is not even offered in many premium motorcycles. That being said, this feature is the adjustable windscreen on the newly launched Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle.
While this feature may seem rather simple, it is actually very useful for many riders, especially for the ones who spend covering long distances and do plenty of highway runs.
That being said, the adjustable windscreen on the newly launched Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is a manually adjustable unit. To operate this adjustable windscreen, a release button is integrated into the right side of the fairing.
Other features include projector LED headlamps with Auto On/Off function, hazard switch, backlit switchgear, LED taillamps, LED turn indicators, and an all-new inverted LCD digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
The latter option includes features such as phone connectivity, call/SMS alert, turn-by-turn navigation, gear position indicator, trip meters, low-fuel warning, and much more. Also, the invested LCD display is quite clear even under direct sunlight.
Coming to the powertrain, the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle uses an all-new 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine. This engine is tuned to produce 25.15bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm.
It is also worth mentioning that the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle comes paired with an all-new 6-speed gearbox with Slip & Assist clutch. Thanks to such a setup, we expect the model to have good mile-munching capabilities as well.
Under the skin, the new Hero Karizma XMR uses an all-new steel Trellis frame. However, unlike the more affordable Hero Xtreme 160R 4V, the Karizma XMR uses a 37mm conventional telescopic suspension at the front and a 6-step pre-load adjustable mono-shock at the rear.
In terms of braking hardware, the new Karizma XMR motorcycle is equipped with a 300mm disc brake at the front and a smaller 230mm disc brake at the rear. Moreover, the braking system is further assisted with the help of a dual-channel ABS unit.
