Check Out The Top Speed Of The All-New Hero Karizma Motorcycle
The Hero Karizma XMR is one of the most exciting new motorcycles of this year. With the launch of this new motorcycle, Hero Motocorp has also brought back the iconic 'Karizma' nameplate to the Indian motorcycle market.
Recently, a video of the Karizma XMR motorcycle was shared on YouTube by Pradeep On Wheels on their YouTube channel. In this video, the YouTuber has been seen testing the top speed of the all-new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle.
According to this video, the Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle can do 45km/h in first gear, 65km/h in second gear, 85km/h in third gear, 108km/h in fourth gear, 125km/h in fifth gear, and 141km/h in sixth gear. However, according to the presenter, he was able to do 147km/h during the test.
This means the new Hero Karizma XMR is faster than the Bajaj Pulsar 220, which was once marketed as the 'Fastest India' with a top speed of 144km/h. That being said, the Hero Karizma XMR can be seen accelerating pretty well even past 130km/h.
Powering the Hero Karizma XMR is an all-new 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-valve, DOHC engine. This engine is tuned to produce 25.15bhp at 9,250rpm and 20.4Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm.
On top of that, this engine in the new Hero Karizma XMR also comes paired with a new 6-speed gearbox with Slip & Assist clutch. Given the top speed of the Karizma XMR, we expect the 6th gear to be on the taller side, which will be good for mile-munching on highways.
To control all this performance, the newly launched Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle sports a large 300mm disc brake at the front and a smaller 230mm disc brake at the rear. Moreover, the braking system is further improved with the help of a dual-channel ABS unit.
Under the skin, the new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle uses an all-new steel Trellis frame. Apart from that, the motorcycle uses a 37mm telescopic suspension at the front and a 6-step pre-load adjustable mono suspension at the rear.
Thoughts: Hero Motoorp has high hopes for the all-new Karizma XMR motorcycle. Also, given the pricing, the performance and specification of the Hero Karizma motorcycle seems to justify the pricing of the model.
