Design
Analysing the video, the design of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 motorcycle looks like an evolution of the outgoing Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle. Some of the noticeable design features include a fixed headlamp, a large fuel tank, split seats, mid-set footpegs and more.
Features
In terms of features, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 motorcycle is expected to come with an all-new circular digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS tech and more. On top of that, the upcoming Himalayan 450 is also expected to feature multiple ride modes as well.
Powertrain
Unlike the outgoing Royal Enfield Himalayan, the upcoming Himalayan 450 motorcycle will feature a more advanced liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This powertrain is said to displace around 450cc and produce approximately 35bhp and 40Nm of peak torque.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Royal Enfield 450 is expected to feature a 6-speed gearbox with Slip & Assist clutch. This extra cog will also help the motorcycle with better cruising ability.
Hardware
In terms of hardware, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will come equipped with premium hardware bits such as USD forks at the front, a semi-adjustable monoshock at the rear, and larger front and rear disc brakes.

When launched, the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is likely to be positioned above the outgoing Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle rather than replacing it. When launched, the Himalayan 450 will compete against the likes of other adventure motorcycles such as the KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G310 GS, etc.
