TVS Jupiter ZX (Drum) Now Available With SmartXonnect Tech - Priced At Rs 84,468
TVS Jupiter ZX Drum with SmartXonnect Bluetooth connectivity launched at Rs 84,468 (ex-showroom). The newest iteration of the TVS Jupiter ZX sees the drum variant get equipped with TVS's SmartXonnexct tech.
The Chennai-based firm claims that the new SmartXonnect equipped version of the TVS Jupiter ZX Drum variant has been launched due to the success of the disc variant that comes equipped with the same connected riding suite.
With the arrival of the new ZX Drum variant equipped with SmartXonnect tech, the TVS Jupiter scooter now comes in a total of 7 trim levels that range from Rs 73,240 to Rs 89,648 (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
To differentiate the new Jupiter ZX trim level from its siblings, TVS is offering the new variant with an exclusive colour scheme - Olive Gold. The launch of the new variant also saw the introduction of a new colour option for the Jupiter ZX lineup - Starlight Blue.
The introduction of the SmartXonnect technology to the drum brake version of the Jupiter ZX sees the specific scooter get the Bluetooth-connected digital cluster enabled with TVS SmartXonnect tech. The new variant also gets a USB charging port.
This SmartXonnect system from TVS allows riders of the new Jupiter ZX trim level to take advantage of a host of features like Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Voice Assist, and Call and SMS alerts in the new instrument cluster.
On the mechanical side of things, the new Jupiter ZX Drum SmartXonnect equipped variant stays the same as the rest of its siblings. The Jupiter ZX draws power from a 109.7cc, single-cylinder engine that pushes out 7.77bhp and 8.8Nm of peak torque that is sent to the rear wheel with the help of a CVT gearbox.
To take care of the rough stuff, the TVS Jupiter ZX sports telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels shod with tubeless tyres. Braking duties are carried out by drums or a front disc and rear drum depending on the variant chosen.
