Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 Launched In India: Prices Start At Rs 82,911
Hero Motocorp recently launched the new Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 motorcycle in India. This latest version of the iconic Splendor motorcycle is currently priced at Rs 82,911 (ex-showroom). This new Splendor motorcycle is equipped with a 100cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 7.09bhp and 8.05Nm of torque. Furthermore, the engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox.
Features & Technology
The Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 includes several modern features such as telescopic forks at the front, drum brakes on both wheels, a USB charger, and a full digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. It also features an LED headlight.
Competition & Legacy
Compared to the previous model, the Xtec 2.0 is about Rs 3,000 more expensive. It will compete with the Honda Shine 100, which recently crossed the 3 lakh unit sales milestone.
That being said, the new Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 is expected to provide strong competition to the Honda Shine 100 as the Hero Splendor has been a global best-seller since its launch in 1994, celebrating a rich legacy of 30 years with the Xtec 2.0.

The bike also includes a hazard light for enhanced safety and i3S technology for improved fuel efficiency, with a claimed mileage of 73km/l. All of this makes the Hero Splendor Plus Xtec 2.0 motorcycle an attractive option for anyone looking for a frugal and reliable 100cc commuter motorcycle.
