New Hero XPulse 210 Partially Revealed Before EICMA 2024: New TFT, LED Lighting, And More
The Hero XPulse 210 will make its much-awaited debut today at EICMA. However, it was just yesterday when the official teasers of the motorcycle surfaced on social media, showing the audience what to expect with the new model.
The XPulse 210, as understood, comes with a 210cc engine - the same one found on the latest Hero Karizma XMR. In terms of styling, the XPulse 210 follows the design cues of its predecessor, with a few upgrades and enhancements.

Hero XPulse 210 Design & Technology
First off, the headlamp. It seems to be a round unit with an LED projector headlamp supported by a brace. The mudguard looks to be a lot more aggressive and pointier, the windscreen is taller, and the fuel tank is larger. Also, the side and rear fairings are new and unseen on the current gen.
Moving to technology, the XPulse 210 will get a redesigned colour TFT display in contrast to the LCD display that has been present. The display has all the necessary information such as an rpm meter, speedometer, engine temperature, a gear indicator, and it looks like the XPulse 210 will also come with different riding/ABS modes.

Hero Xpulse 210 Engine And Specifications
The new Hero XPulse will come with Karizma's 210cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that produces 25bhp at 9,250rpm and 20Nm at 7,250rpm. However, for the XPulse, the engine may be recalibrated to produce different power outputs that suit the motorcycle's riding style. This engine will come linked to a 6-speed gearbox.
The current XPulse 200 4V sold on the market has a 199.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that makes 18.9bhp at 8,500rpm and 17.5Nm at 6,500rpm. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

Thoughts On The New Hero XPulse 210
In light of the new Hero XPulse 210 being unveiled, let's talk about how important it is for India. Right now in the small-segment Adventure motorcycles, we only have the XPulse 200 and the recently launched Kawasaki KLX230.
The XPulse 200, while great for a beginner, is a little too underpowered for a seasoned rider. This is where the 210cc engine will come into play - it'll give those riders that extra oomph when they require and will allow them to push the bike to new heights, be it on road or offroad.
