Hero Xpulse 210 Unveiled: Top 5 Things You Need To Know
The Hero Xpulse 210, recently unveiled at EICMA 2024, is equipped with a liquid-cooled engine from the Karizma XMR. This marks a significant shift from the air/oil-cooled engine used in the Xpulse for 5 years. Alongside this off-roader, Hero introduced the new Xtreme 250R and Karizma 250 models.
Design
Visually, the Xpulse 210 resembles the smaller Xpulse 200 but features distinct differences like new paint schemes and a sharper dip from the tank to the rider's seat. Unlike the seamless flow of the tank into the seat seen in the Xpulse 200, these changes give it a unique look.
Engine
The most notable update in the Xpulse 210 compared to its predecessor, the Xpulse 200, is its engine. Although it uses the same motor as the Karizma XMR, its power output is slightly less at 24.6hp compared to Karizma's 25.5hp. However, both bikes share a peak torque of 20.7Nm.
Hardware
The bike's off-road capabilities are highlighted by its switchable ABS and wheel sizes—21-inch front and 18-inch rear—ideal for trail riding. Suspension travel measures at an impressive 210mm at the front and 205mm at the rear, enhancing its performance on rugged terrains.
Features
A standout feature of the Xpulse 210 is its new 4.2-inch TFT dash, which is rare for off-road bikes in this segment. This modern addition offers enhanced functionality and user experience for riders exploring challenging paths.
Market Expectations
The Hero Xpulse 210 is anticipated to be available in India soon. While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, it will likely be higher than the current Xpulse 200, which ranges between Rs 1.47 lakh and Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). A rally kit option will also be offered with this model.
