EICMA 2024: Hero Xtreme 250R Unveiled - The Xtreme Streetfighter
Hero Motocorp has revealed the all-new Xtreme 250R at EICMA 2024. The Hero Xtreme 250R is the production version of the 2.5R Xtunt unveiled at last year's EICMA show and is the naked streetfighter sibling of the newly unveiled Karizma XMR 250.
The Hero Xtreme 250R sees the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer head into the 250cc space with a naked motorcycle for the first time. The Xtreme 250R features an aggressive design and an engine that matches those looks.

The Hero Xtreme 250R is powered by a 250cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that produces 29.6bhp and 25Nm of peak torque, good enough for a 0-60km/h sprint time of 3.25 seconds. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Xtreme 250R sports a steel trellis frame setup suspended off a 43mm USD fork at the front and an adjustable 6-step adjustable mono-shock. The 17-inch alloy wheels are shod with wide radial tyres. Braking duties are carried out by disc brakes at both ends aided by switchable dual-channel ABS. The bike features a 50:50 weight distribution.

In terms of its looks, the Xtreme 250R features an angular LED headlight with inset LED DRLs. The Hero Xtreme 250R features a beefy fuel tank with sharp extensions. The tail section is sharply raked and a chunky exhaust sits on the right side of the bike.
The Xtreme 250R features a full LED lighting setup along with digital instrumentation in the form of a TFT screen that includes features like a lap timer and drag timer along with the usual readouts and connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation and music controls.
