Honda Electric Scooter To Begin Production Soon: Showcased At EICMA 2024
Honda's rolling out some pretty exciting EVs at EICMA 2024, including the CUV e:, their second electric scooter for Europe. Following the EM1 e: from last year, this model reinforces Honda's ambition to dominate the electric two-wheeler scene.
And there's more: Honda is also teasing two intriguing concepts-the EV Fun and the EV Urban-aimed at different types of electric riders. Here's the scoop on what Honda has brought to Milan this year.

CUV e:
The CUV e: is Honda's latest EV and comes loaded with two removable battery packs, providing a solid range of over 70km per charge. Honda's flexibility in tech is evident here; you get to choose between two different display sizes: a 5-inch screen or a 7-inch TFT with Bluetooth.
And yes, it's got three riding modes-Standard, Sport, and Eco-plus a reverse mode for tight spots. This one's not a concept, folks-it's headed to production soon.
EV Fun Concept
Next up is the EV Fun concept, Honda's sporty electric naked bike. Honda claims it has the punch of a mid-sized internal combustion engine bike, hinting at serious power. The bike flaunts a single-sided swingarm and a distinctive headlight, which may remind Indian fans of the Ola Roadster.
Plus, it's got a CCS2 quick charger (yes, the kind you see on cars), so charging options should be plentiful. Expect over 100km of range on a full charge, which is promising for a sporty e-bike. Though it's still in the concept stage, final touches on the brakes and suspension suggest this one isn't too far from production.
EV Urban Concept
Rounding out Honda's lineup is the EV Urban concept, which seems aimed at the premium scooter market-think BMW CE 04 vibes. Honda hasn't revealed much yet on the powertrain, but if the silhouette and style are anything to go by, this could be a sleek, high-end addition to Honda's future EV lineup.
Honda's EICMA display this year proves they're not just dipping a toe into the EV market-they're getting ready to make some serious waves.
