LML Star Electric Scooter: Modern Design And Competitive Specs
LML has unveiled the design of its Star electric scooter, which is set to launch soon. The Star, LML's first electric scooter, was initially showcased at last year's Auto Expo in Greater Noida. The company has patented the design, which was crafted by designers from renowned brands like Ducati and Yamaha.
The Star is one of three electric scooters that LML plans to introduce in India. Alongside the Star, the Moonshot and Orion models are also slated for release. All three were previously presented as concepts. The Star's launch is anticipated in the second half of the year, likely aligning with the festive season.

LML Star: Design and Features
The design patent reveals that the Star will feature a modern look with a dual-tone black and white body, LED DRLs, projector headlights, and red accents. LML describes it as a mid-maxi scooter with unique design elements. It will include features not commonly found in competitors' models.
The Star will offer an automatic headlight with guide-me-home lamps, a customisable screen behind the front apron, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, and a digital display. Safety features such as tyre pressure monitoring system, hill hold assist, reverse mode, and ABS will also be included.

LML Star: Battery Specifications
Details about the battery specifications of the Star remain limited. However, it is expected to have two removable battery packs with 2 kWh capacity each. The scooter may provide a range of approximately 150 km on a single charge.
The top speed of the Star is projected to be around 90 kmph with an estimated power output of nearly 7 bhp. This positions it competitively within the electric scooter market in India.

LML's strategic move into electric vehicles marks an important step for the company. By collaborating with global design experts and focusing on innovative features, LML aims to capture a significant share of India's growing EV market.
