Oben Rorr EZ Electric Bike Launched In India At Rs 89,999
Oben Electric has introduced its second electric bike, the Rorr EZ, with a starting price of Rs 89,999 in Delhi. This new model offers three battery options: 2.6kWh, 3.4kWh, and 4.4kWh. The top variant is priced at Rs 1.10 lakh. The bike can reach a maximum speed of 95kph in Havoc mode.
Battery Capacity and Charging Options
The Rorr EZ provides three riding modes: Eco, City, and Havoc. For the 2.6kWh battery, the estimated range is 80km in Eco mode, 60km in City mode, and 50km in Havoc mode. These figures increase to 110km, 90km, and 70km for the 3.4kWh variant, respectively. The largest battery pack offers ranges of 140km, 110km, and 90km.
Charging the Rorr EZ can be done using either a standard or fast charger. The standard charger takes between 4 to 7 hours to fully charge the battery from 0 to full capacity, depending on the variant. Fast charging allows an 80 percent charge in just 45 minutes for the smallest battery.
Performance and Specifications
All variants share similar components like the motor and frame. The motor delivers a peak output of 7.5kW and torque of 52Nm. This enables acceleration from 0 to 40kph in just over 3 seconds across all models. Top speed is capped at 95kph in Havoc mode, while Eco and City modes limit it to 40kph and 60kph.
The seat height remains consistent at 810mm across all versions but weight varies due to different battery sizes: the smallest weighs 138kg while the largest tips scales at 148kg. Suspension setup, tyres, and belt final drive are uniform across all models.
Smart Features and Colour Options
The Rorr EZ boasts smart features such as geo-fencing, remote diagnostics, and bike tracking accessible via Oben's app on smartphones. Colour choices vary by variant; Flux Grey is exclusive to the base model, while others come in Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green or Photon White.
Pricing and Warranty Details
Pricing for each variant starts at Rs 89,999 for the base model with prices rising incrementally based on battery capacity up to Rs 1.10 lakh for top-tier option—all introductory ex-showroom prices across India including cities like Bengaluru, where Oben operates alongside Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, Kerala among others.
Oben offers a standard warranty covering 3 years or 50,000 kilometres applicable for both motor battery packs extendable 5 years or 75,000 kilometers, ensuring peace of mind for customers investing in their products today and tomorrow alike!
