EICMA 2024: Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 Launched At Rs 3.39 Lakh
Royal Enfield has launched the Interceptor Bear 650 scrambler at EICMA 2024. The all-new Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 is priced at Rs 3.39 lakh ex-showroom (India).
The Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear is offered in four regular colour options - Boardwalk White (Rs 3.39 lakh), Petrol Green and Wild Honey (Rs 3.34 lakh), and Golden Shadow (3.51 lakh) along with a special colour edition called Two Four Nine that comes in at Rs 3.59 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
The Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 is powered by the firm's parallel-twin 648cc engine that pushes out 47bhp and 56.5Nm of peak torque that grumbles its anger at the world with a 2into1 exhaust system that also helps keep the Bear trim.
The biggest change in terms of the mechanical bits comes in the form of the revised and strengthened chassis that is suspended off Showa USD big piston forks in the front with 130mm travel and Showa Twin tube shocks at the rear with 115mm travel. The Bear 650 sports a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel fitted with dual-purpose tyres.
Braking duties are handled by a 320mm disc at the front and a 270mm rear disc that are aided by a switchable dual-channel ABS that allows for the rear ABS to be switched off for a bit of fun on the trails and gravel.
The Interceptor Bear's contoured seat along with the wide handlebars and neutral footpeg positioning allow riders to ride comfortably and confidently while the tripper dash and TFT display allow for easy guidance on the move. The Bear also features a full LED lighting setup.
