Royal Enfield Scram 440 To Come In 5 Shades: Guerrilla 450 Gets New Colours

Royal Enfield recently showcased the Scram 440 at Motoverse 2024, introducing a larger 443cc engine and enhanced features. This motorcycle is available in 5 colours: Trail Green, Trail Blue, Force Blue, Force Grey, and Force Teal. The new engine produces 25.4bhp at 6,250rpm and a peak torque of 34Nm at 4,000rpm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox for improved performance during long rides.

The Royal Enfield Scram 440 will be available in two variants: Trail and Force. The Trail variant comes with spoke wheels and tube-type tyres, while the Force variant features alloy wheels with tubeless tyres. The motorcycle will be available in showrooms by December, with an official launch set for January 2025.

New Features and Design

Despite retaining its previous styling, the Scram 440 now includes an LED headlight and switchable ABS. Additionally, there's a provision for mounting a top box with a payload capacity of 5kg. A semi-digital instrument cluster remains from the previous model, but braking hardware has been updated alongside the introduction of a pull-type clutch for lighter action.

Meanwhile, Royal Enfield also revealed a new bronze colour option for the Guerrilla 450 at the Motoverse festival in Goa. This colour will be available from January 2025 alongside existing options like Brava Blue and Yellow Ribbon. Prices range from Rs. 2.39 lakh to Rs. 2.54 lakh ex-showroom.

Guerrilla 450 Specifications

The Guerrilla 450 is powered by a 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine delivering 39.47bhp and 40Nm of torque. It features a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch. Riding on 17-inch alloy wheels supported by Showa telescopic forks and a monoshock, it ensures stability on various terrains.

The design of the Guerrilla blends roadster and scrambler elements with its round headlamp, off-set console, curvy fuel tank, and slim upswept tail section housing a single-piece seat. It weighs in at a kerb weight of 185kg and includes an 11-litre fuel tank.

Variants and Technology

The Guerrilla is offered in three variants: Analogue, Dash, and Flash. The base variant features an analogue-digital instrument cluster with an optional Tripper navigation pod. The top variant boasts a TFT display equipped with Bluetooth connectivity and Google-based navigation.

Both motorcycles are set to enhance Royal Enfield's lineup with their unique offerings in terms of design, technology, and performance capabilities.
