April 2025 Motorcycle Sales: Royal Enfield Leads Despite Decline
Sales in the 350cc to 400cc motorcycle segment saw a slight dip in April 2025, with total sales reaching 83,711 units. This marks a decrease of 0.21% compared to April 2024's figure of 83,886 units, translating to a reduction of 175 units. The Royal Enfield models continue to dominate this segment, holding a significant market share.
Royal Enfield Dominance
The Classic 350 remains the top-selling model, despite a year-on-year decline of 9.80%. It sold 26,801 units in April 2025 compared to 29,476 units in the same month last year. The Hunter 350 showed an impressive growth of 11.88%, with sales increasing from 16,186 units in April 2024 to 18,109 units this year.

The Bullet 350 also experienced a notable rise in sales by 25.25%, reaching 16,489 units from last year's figure of 13,165. However, the Meteor faced a downturn with sales dropping by 24.56% to 7,644 units from the previous year's count of 10,132.
Triumph's Rising Sales
Triumph Motorcycles India has made significant strides with its Triumph Speed and Scrambler models. The Triumph Speed saw its sales jump by an impressive 55.62%, selling 3,461 units compared to last year's figure of 2,224. This increase represents a volume growth of 1,237 units.
Other Brands' Performance
Jawa Yezdi experienced a decline in retail sales by 15.69%, falling from last year's figure of 2,836 to just 2,391 units this April. Meanwhile, Honda CB350 witnessed growth with sales rising by 29.29% to reach 1,863 units from last year's count of 1,441.
The RE Himalayan faced challenges with its sales dropping by a significant margin of 41.21%, resulting in only 1,715 unit sales this year. On the other hand, KTM's performance was remarkable as it recorded a substantial increase of over double its previous figures.
New Entrants & Declines
Newcomer RE Guerrilla contributed an additional sale of around 920 units to the overall tally for this segment during April 2025 alone! Lower down on our list is H'Ness 350 which sold 917 bikes but suffered almost 50 percent decline year-on-year basis while Harley Davidson X440 also saw similar de-growth patterns at 43 percent decrease resulting 657 motorcycles being sold last month alone!
Bajaj's Pulsar 400 managed 513 unit sales whereas Dominar recorded 462 bike sale, marking slight drop-off compared against previous years' numbers. Meanwhile, Aprilia Tuono 457 had 143 purchases alongside RS 457 which accounted for 136 transactions respectively throughout same period.
