Top 10 Best-Selling Two-Wheelers Manufacturers (August 2025) – Honda, Hero & TVS Lead
India's two-wheeler market recorded 13,73,675 retail sales in August 2025, marking a 2.18 percent increase from 13,44,380 units sold in August 2024. Honda secured the top position in the charts, closely followed by Hero and TVS as the leading manufacturers.
Honda topped the market in August 2025 with 3,54,531 units, marginally higher than the 3,53,917 units recorded a year earlier. The company added just 614 units to its tally, reflecting a 0.17 percent year-on-year increase, while maintaining a market share of 25.81 percent.

Hero finished second with 3,41,865 units in August 2025, down from 3,59,268 units in August 2024. The decline amounted to 17,403 units, equating to a 4.84 percent fall. The brand's share in the overall market stood at 24.89 percent.
TVS registered 2,71,522 units in August 2025 compared to 2,37,418 units sold during the same month last year. This translated to a rise of 34,104 units, showing a 14.36 percent increase, and securing the company a market share of 19.77 percent.

Bajaj Auto reported 1,29,138 units in August 2025 against 1,49,552 units in August 2024. The fall amounted to 20,414 units, indicating a 13.65 percent decline year-on-year. Bajaj's performance gave it a 9.40 percent share of the overall market.
Suzuki registered 90,800 units in August 2025, up from 79,857 units in the corresponding month last year. The company added 10,943 units, reflecting a 13.70 percent growth year-on-year. Its market share stood at 6.61 percent for the month.

Royal Enfield delivered 71,630 units in August 2025 compared to 56,318 units in August 2024. The difference came to 15,312 units, equal to a 27.19 percent growth year-on-year. The brand accounted for 5.21 percent of total market sales.
Yamaha closed the month with 53,504 units, slightly higher than the 52,214 units sold in August 2024. The increase of 1,290 units represented a 2.47 percent rise. Yamaha held a 3.89 percent market share in August 2025.
Ola Electric sold 18,972 units in August 2025 compared to 27,623 units in the same period last year. The fall of 8,651 units equated to a 31.32 percent decline year-on-year. Ola's share of the two-wheeler market stood at 1.38 percent.
Ather Energy reported 17,871 units in August 2025, up from 11,046 units in August 2024. The increase of 6,825 units represented a 61.79 percent growth. The company achieved a market share of 1.30 percent during the month.
Ampere recorded 4,498 units in August 2025 as against 2,824 units sold last year. This was a gain of 1,674 units, showing a 59.28 percent growth year-on-year. Ampere's sales accounted for 0.33 percent of the market in August 2025.
