Ultraviolette, a leading electric bike manufacturer in India, has unveiled its latest offerings at the Fast Forward India event in Bengaluru. The company introduced two new models: the Tesseract scooter and the Shockwave electric enduro bike. That being said, here are top 5 things about the new Ultraviolette Shockwave electric bike.
Ultraviolette Shockwave: What It Is?
According to Ultraviolette, the Shockwave is designed to provide an exhilarating off-road experience, living up to its tagline "Too Stoked". Furthermore, this model is affectionately referred to as "Funduro" by Ultraviolette.

Ultraviolette Shockwave: Design & Features
Shockwave's design embodies the essence of an enduro motorcycle. It features vertically arranged dual LED projector headlights, a tall windscreen, and wire-spoke wheels fitted with dual-purpose off-road tyres. The bike is available in two vibrant colours aimed at attracting younger riders.
The seating arrangement accommodates both rider and pillion on a single-piece seat. A high-set handlebar with a brace pad enhances control, while a portrait-style digital instrument cluster offers Bluetooth connectivity and smartphone pairing through LTE with an integrated eSim feature.
Ultraviolette Shockwave: Performance & Specifications
The Shockwave boasts a 165 km IDC certified range per charge. Its single electric motor delivers 14.5 bhp of peak power alongside 505 Nm of torque at the wheel. With a top speed of 120 km/h, it accelerates from 0-60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, making it ideal for off-road adventures.

The suspension setup includes 37mm telescopic front forks with 200 mm travel and a mono-shock rear suspension offering 180 mm travel. The bike rides on a combination of 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped in tyres sized at 90/90-19 front and 110/90-17 rear.
Ultraviolette Shockwave: Braking System
For safety and enhanced riding experience, the Shockwave is equipped with disc brakes on both ends complemented by dual-channel ABS. The ABS can be switched off at the rear for added fun during off-road escapades.
Ultraviolette Shockwave: Price
The Ultraviolette Shockwave is priced at Rs 1.5 lakh (Ex-showroom) for the first 1,000 buyers, after which it will cost Rs 1.75 lakh (Ex-showroom).
